DHF Governance Hub — What We Built

Proposal Watchlist

  • Star any proposal to add it to your personal watchlist
  • Your watchlist is saved to your account and persists across sessions
  • A mini watchlist widget appears on your home dashboard showing all your watched proposals at a glance
  • Proposals in the widget are sorted by vote weight, just like the main proposals page
  • for modular dashboard once you add to watchlist the widget will appear at the bottom of the page so it does not disrupt the users' current dashboard

Impact Simulator

  • When logged in, each proposal shows how your vote would affect its total funding
  • Hover over it to see the exact simulated total if you vote or unvote
  • Accounts for proxy votes — same calculation used in the voters list

Smart Status Reminders

  • The app checks your watched proposals once per day in the background

  • If any proposal changes status (funded → unfunded, active → expired, etc.) you get notified via a toast message and a browser notification

  • The watchlist widget also highlights proposals that need your attention

  • To simulate "funded → unfunded" you need a proposal that is currently unfunded in live data, then tell localStorage it was previously funded:

    1. Find any proposal currently sitting below the return proposal divider (unfunded)
    2. Watch it with the star button
    3. Run in the console:

Reload — the watcher sees stored funded: true vs live funded: false → fires the "lost funding" notification

    The logic is: you can't change the blockchain, so you fake the previous state. If a proposal is unfunded right now, pretending it was funded before is equivalent to it having just lost funding.

Voting Improvements

  • You can vote or unvote directly from the proposal card
  • After voting, the page automatically scrolls back to that proposal
  • Expired proposals you already voted on show a grayed-out "Voted" badge instead of nothing
  • Works with both Keychain and HiveSigner

Filtering & Search Enhancements

  • New "Favorites" filter to show only your watched proposals instantly
  • New "Voted" filter to show only proposals you've voted on
  • Both filters work alongside the existing search and status filters
