Feature Request: DHF Governance Hub

With the Sign-In system now fully operational, we are ready to implement the DHF Governance Hub. This suite of features will allow users to manage their influence on the Hive ecosystem directly through our app.

  • The Feature: A dedicated navigation link in the user’s sidebar/profile.
  • The Flow: Clicking this link performs a live filter of the Hive Proposal list. It shows the user exactly which projects they are currently supporting.
  • Purpose: Allows users to audit their "Support Portfolio" and remove votes from projects they no longer wish to fund.

Feature 2: "Watch List" (Home Screen Widget)

  • The Feature: A "Star" icon on every proposal that adds it to a personalized watchlist.
  • The Flow: When a user stars a proposal, it appears in a Widget on the Home Screen.

Feature 3: Shadow Voting (Impact Simulator)

  • The Feature: A visualization tool that shows "What if I vote?"
  • The Flow: Before clicking "Vote," the user sees a preview: "Your [X] Hive Power will move this proposal from Rank #22 (closed) to Rank #18 (closed)."
  • Calculation: (Proposal Current Votes + User Hive Power). We then compare this sum against the other proposals in the global list to determine the "Shadow Rank."

Feature 4: Proposal Voting

  • The Feature: Standardized one-click voting.
  • The Flow: A simple "Vote" or "Unvote" button.
  • Technical: This uses the update_proposal_votes operation

Feature 5: Smart Status Reminders

Monitors two specific "failure states" for proposals the user cares about.

A. Tracking the "Unfunded" Status

On Hive, a proposal is only funded if it has more votes than the "Return Proposal" (the threshold).

  • Technical Logic:
    1. Fetch the Threshold: Our app fetches the vote count of the "Return Proposal" (usually account hive.fund or proposal ID 0).
    2. Comparison: We compare the votes of the user's Watched Proposals against this threshold.
    3. Status Change: If Watched Proposal Votes < Threshold, the status in the Widget changes to "UNFUNDED" with a red warning.
  • User Value: The user is immediately alerted if a project they like has lost its funding and needs more support.

B. Tracking the "Expiry" Status

  • Technical Logic:
    1. Date Comparison: The app calculates the difference between current_date and the proposal’s end_date.
    2. Trigger: If the difference is ≤ 7 days, a "Closing Soon" reminder is triggered.
  • User Value: Prevents users from accidentally letting a proposal expire without voting for the creator's "Renewal Proposal."
